Changing your address on eToro is simple, but there are a few steps to follow:

  1. Log into your eToro trading account: Head to eToro.com and sign in with your credentials.
  2. Go to Settings: Select ‘Settings’ from the menu
  3. Select your profile: At the top, click on your profile. This will open a new screen.
  4. Find 'Proof of Address': Inside this menu, look for the section labeled ‘Proof of Address’ and click it.
  5. Upload your new proof of address: You’ll need to submit a document that clearly shows your name, your new address, and the issue date. Accepted documents include:

✅A utility bill (electricity, water, gas) issued in the last six months
✅A recent bank or credit card statement
    ✅A government-issued letter
    ✅A lease or rental agreement

Make sure the details are easy to read. Take note that blurry uploads or cropped documents may get rejected.
  6. Submit and wait: Once you upload the file, eToro reviews it. If everything checks out, your account's address will be updated. In my case, it took just under two days.

A personal tip: If anything goes sideways or you hit a snag, raise a ticket through eToro’s Customer Service Center. In my experience, they’re pretty quick to respond and takes just a few hours.

eToro is a multi-asset platform which offers both investing in stocks and cryptoassets, as well as trading CFDs.

Please note that CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. 51% of retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs with this provider. You should consider whether you understand how CFDs work, and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.

Copy Trading does not amount to investment advice.  The value of your investments may go up or down.  Your capital is at risk.

Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you should not expect to be protected if something goes wrong. Take 2 mins to learn more.

Cryptoasset investing is highly volatile and unregulated in some EU countries. No consumer protection. Tax on profits may apply.

eToro USA LLC does not offer CFDs and makes no representation and assumes no liability as to the accuracy or completeness of the content of this publication, which hasbeen prepared by our partner utilizing publicly available non-entity specific information about eToro.
