eToro does not charge a standard monthly fee for maintaining an account. However, it does impose a $10 monthly inactivity fee if you haven't logged into your account for 12 consecutive months. This fee continues each month until you log in again or your account balance reaches zero.
To avoid this charge, simply log into your eToro account at least once a year. No trading activity is required, just logging in resets the inactivity timer.
