Yes, it is. eToro Money works as a crypto wallet built right into the eToro Money app. Once you’ve opened an account, you can move supported coins out of your main trading account and into the wallet. From there, you’ve got more freedom to manage your assets separately from the trading platform.

You can send crypto to external wallets, receive it from outside eToro, and even swap one coin for another, right inside the app. All without touching the main eToro trading interface. The app also doubles as an e-money service, though that’s mainly for users in the UK and Europe.

eToro Money: What It Does

The eToro Money app (iOS and Android) does two jobs:

  • First, it gives you a fiat account (GBP or EUR depending on your location).
  • Second, it doubles as your crypto wallet. No extra downloads. It’s all baked into the same app.

How the Crypto Wallet Works

This is a custodial wallet. That means you don’t manage private keys yourself. eToro takes care of the security behind the scenes. You just log in and go.

You can send or receive supported cryptocurrencies directly to and from external wallets. All inside the app.

eToro Money as a Payment App

The app also works as an e-money account. You can send fiat funds, receive payments, and manage your balance. Whether it’s topping up your trading account or moving money elsewhere, it’s built for that.

The e-money service is mostly available in the UK and Europe. UK users get a GBP account. If you're in Europe, you’ll get a EUR one.
